Chip Kidd

Last Tuesday night is so impressive to me because of the lecture given by this funny guy- Chip Kidd.
He is now an artist and famous for his designing book covers.
He's presentation is really interested to me , especially the part that he showed us a lot about making the cover of "Bat Man". His experience as a graphic designer also gives me a lot of information, particularly I wanna majoring in graphic design. Over all, I think it was really good to see his show and get further understanding about being an graphic artist.

The movie is about the application of Art design in the real life all over the world. This movie gives me another perspective of the design that being creative and innovative can also turn out to be great brands.

Jille's websites

I found something really interesting on Jille's links.
Surprisingly, I found Loretta Lux's official site. I have always been a big fan of Loretta, and it is a truly pleasure for me to find out Jille has the same taste.
Lorreta is good at child-portrait painting, her picture always bring me back to my childhood, which is a great time in my memory all the time.

Also, I felt its really awesome to see the 1000 journals. The site give me a lot of inspiration and benefit me in learning 2D foundation principle class. I will keep my eyes on this site, and keep absorbing ideas from it.

Peter Callesen 's paper sculpture is another great example that gives me a lot of enlightenment in three dimension.
